Before you print

Choose your paper. Check your scale.

Choose the file matching your paper size. Follow that product’s instructions. Where instructed, use Actual size / 100%, turn off Fit or Shrink and check the supplied scale mark on one trial sheet before printing more.

Use paper your printer supports. Colour varies between screens, printers and papers. Digital layout checks do not establish how a design will print on your machine.

What should I expect?

Do I receive something in the post?

No. These listings sell digital files. You supply paper, printing, tools and any assembly. Garden products do not include seeds; bookmarks do not include books.

Have the files been physically tested?

Most printables have not been physically print-tested. Garden packaging also has untested fit, assembly and containment limits. The Birthday Keepsake listing reports a manual print check and desktop Chrome/macOS editor testing; your setup can still differ. Read each product’s specific limitations.

Can I edit the files?

Most PDFs are fixed layouts for printing and handwriting. The Birthday Keepsake Kit has its own local desktop editor and compatibility requirements. Check its listing rather than assuming all products use an editor or Canva.

Keep paper separate from food. Supervise cutting and assembly as appropriate. For garden gifts, trial the empty assembly, test filled packets over a tray and use separately tested inner seed envelopes where needed. Decorative paper packaging is not postal packaging or long-term seed storage.

Can I give what I make?

Follow the licence supplied with your product. Finished-gift permissions do not automatically permit sharing digital files, giving blank stationery away, selling prints or using artwork for commercial packaging.

The Recipe Sharing kit permits gifts of completed recipes; blank stationery distribution outside your household is excluded. The Birthday kit permits completed personal PDF or printed gifts, with no redistribution of its editor or blank templates. Individual product pages summarise their own terms.
